Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and [Operator name](“we”, “us”) and govern your access to and use of linkfor, including the marketing site, the creator dashboard at app.linkfor.xyz, published tenant sites, and every associated service we make available (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account, publishing a site, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to register. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including every site it publishes. Keep your credentials confidential and notify us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

We may refuse, suspend, or revoke accounts at our discretion, for example when we believe an account is being used to violate these Terms, the applicable law, or the rights of others.

The Service renders public Notion pages that you explicitly link through the creator dashboard, plus any metadata, branding, custom domain, and configuration you add (together, “Your Content”). You retain all rights in Your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, cache, transform, and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service on your behalf.

You are solely responsible for Your Content, including its accuracy, its lawfulness, and that you have all required rights and permissions (including from every person whose data appears inside it). If you include third-party material — fonts, images, embeds — you must have the right to do so.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• publish, host, or transmit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, pornographic (including content sexualising minors), or inciting violence;
• impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with one;
• distribute malware, phishing pages, credential harvesters, cryptominers, or any content designed to defraud visitors;
• scrape, probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service, or attempt to access data that is not yours;
• send unsolicited bulk communications, abuse our rate limits, or use the Service to mass-register throwaway sites;
• resell or white-label the Service outside the plan entitlements, or bypass our billing;
• violate sanctions regimes or export controls applicable to us or to you.

We may investigate suspected violations, cooperate with law enforcement, remove or disable access to offending sites, suspend accounts, and retain forensic copies as required by law. Reports of abuse go to abuse@linkfor.xyz or through our public report form.

Subdomains under our platform root (for example yoursite.linkfor.xyz) are licensed to you for as long as your account remains in good standing. We may reclaim a subdomain if it is dormant, it impersonates a third party, it carries content that violates these Terms, or if we need to retire it for operational reasons. Premium / short subdomains may carry additional terms.

If you attach a custom domain, you represent that you own or are authorised to use that domain. You are responsible for DNS configuration and for any third-party fees (registration, renewal, DNS provider). We automatically request a TLS certificate on your behalf; issuance is governed by our CDN provider’s terms.

Paid plans are described on our pricing page and are sold through LemonSqueezy acting as the Merchant of Record (MoR). By purchasing a plan you accept LemonSqueezy’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. LemonSqueezy collects payment, calculates and remits applicable sales tax / VAT / GST, issues invoices, and handles refunds and chargebacks. We do not directly process card data.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled through the customer portal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion. Plan entitlements (site count, custom domains, branding removal) apply while the subscription is active; if it lapses, access to paid features may be reduced to the Free tier.

We may change prices, plan features, or introduce new plans. Material changes to an existing subscription will be announced with reasonable notice before the next renewal.

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows, provider outages, domain misconfiguration, upstream Notion rate limits, and force majeure events can interrupt service. We may add, change, or remove features at any time; we will try to give reasonable notice for changes that materially reduce functionality you rely on.

The Service itself — the software, the linkfor marks and logos, the documentation, and the overall look and feel — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service as intended by these Terms. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property to you.

Customers on applicable plans may remove the “Powered by linkfor” footer from published tenant sites. On Free plans the footer must remain visible.

The Service integrates with third parties that we do not control, including Notion (source content), LemonSqueezy (billing, MoR), our CDN and domain providers (custom domain attach + TLS issuance), transactional email providers, and optional OAuth identity providers (Google, GitHub). Their terms and privacy policies govern your direct interactions with them. We are not responsible for outages, data handling, or changes those services make.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, if continued service would expose us or our users to unacceptable risk, or if a plan lapses for non-payment. On termination, we may delete Your Content and account data after a reasonable grace period. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (for example, ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution) will survive.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim every express or implied warranty, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for maintaining your own backups of Your Content (Notion itself remains the source of truth for your page content).

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred United States dollars (USD 100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of certain damages; in that case, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our officers, employees, and contractors from and against any claim, demand, or liability (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page and, for material changes, provide additional notice (for example by email or an in-app banner) before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Country], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the competent courts of [Country], except where mandatory local consumer protection rules grant you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
